It doesn't matter, the time of the season

The rhyme or the reason

being outside makes things right

be it daytime or night

the sun and the moon

the wind and the rain

the snow gently falling

the heat and the cold

the chirping of the sparrow

the squirrel is on the lawn

the grass so green and

the trees so tall

the stars shining brightly

and these are not all

but some of the reasons

I prefer it all

to staying inside

in

manufactured comfort

where nothing

changes

but the time... going... by...
