Our Programs We offer services and activities in three primary areas: self-help/ support, education/ vocation, and community outreach/ integration. Recovery is enhanced by one's own creative expression and the enjoyment of things created by others.  Classes are designed to foster new interests or to renew old interests.  Many students utilize their skills and talents to fight stigma and educate the community by displaying their work at various exhibits. We provide two computer labs with access to email & high-speed Internet, scanners, printers, and the latest in software for our members to use. We also provide hands-on instructor led classes starting from the basics of using a computer, email, and the internet, to advanced training in today's leading software. Recovery Education Classes teach skills and increase knowledge that empowers members to achieve goals and further their recovery.  These classes are curriculum based and progress from introductory to advanced recovery concepts. Students are encouraged to offer support and help facilitate the recovery of their peers through the sharing of personal experiences with each other.   Vocational classes help students prepare for jobs or additional educational opportunities in their community.  Individuals develop skills necessary for gainful employment.  Educational Skills classes help individuals enhance reading, writing, and/or math skills and prepare individuals for their GED and/or higher education. Students learn to recognize and create healthy lifestyles through nutrition, wellness, fitness, and exercise.  Programs now include Taekwondo, and Tai Chi.
